The Model RSC product line is a smaller version of the popular Model RS and Model RSB emergency stop controls. The new models can be purchased in 4 distinct styles ranging from single-ended to double-ended units, as well as slack wire and tight-wire versions. The Model RSC-B and RSC-C are taut-wire versions with an external tension spring, which maintains constant tension on the pull cable. If the cable is pulled or the cable breaks, the unit will activate the output contacts. In this way the alarm signal is generated for both conditions: pull or break. After the problem has been corrected, the unit must be manually reset by physically moving the reset lever. Additionally, a palm button (only) in a NEMA 4 enclosure is also being offered as the Model RSC-D. The Model RSC was developed to meet the stringent requirements of safety agencies throughout the world and was designed to act as an emergency stop for conveyors and other moving machinery.
