WHAT IS IT? The Model CT is a tilt action style of level control that consists of 2 separate components, a controller and a sensing probe. The probe actuates the controller's 10A DP/DT relay output when it is tipped a minimum of 15 degrees off vertical.
WHY IS IT NECESSARY? The Model CT can be used as a high level switch, a plugged chute detector, a pile high stacker control, a material presence control on a conveyor belt, and a high level indicator in a crusher box. A high temperature tilt probe is available for ovens and dryers.
The Model CT is commonly used when other controls won't work due to bin vibration, or actual walls aren't available for mounting other controls.
