Tilt Probes or Tilt Level Controls are a simple and easy method of determining the level of material in a bin or hopper, provide notification of plugged chute or blocked ductwork situations, as well as indicate the presence of material on a conveyor belt. Tilt probes are also commonly used as “pile high” or upper limit switches on stacker conveyor applications.  Tilt probes are versatile and work on a variety of dry bulk materials. In addition to their use on large or medium lump materials, Conveyor Components Company has developed a welded-on paddle, a thread-on paddle (using the CT-700 adapter) and a threaded float ball attachment for use in fine-grained materials. These accessories add to their already diverse family of model CT tilt probes.
